What readers have to say about Mark Tullius and this action-packed collection:

"A very great collection of short stories. The stories are mostly violent but not really bloody except for one." ★★★★★

"I prefer shorter horror stories and love stories with unexpected twists or shocking, violent ends. This book is a collection of short horror stories that hit all of my buttons!" ★★★★★

"I really enjoy this assortment of stories, it's like an adult version of Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark." ★★★★★

"These stories remind me of Sudden fiction, stories that happen in about a page because they jump right in and own you." ★★★★★
"These are fabulous stories. They are fun and naughty and dangerous." ★★★★★

"Mark Tullius is so dark. He goes to places where the devil would need a map and a flashlight. He has an incredible gift for very meaty short stories. He's able to tell a very full story in a very short format." ★★★★★

"Having grown up with Stephen King and Dean Koontz, I really appreciated Mark Tullius's writing." ★★★★★

"This was spooky fun! If you're a fan of Twilight Zone, this is the book for you. Lots of short stories with that extra little twist of creepiness." ★★★★★

"Dark, violent and perfectly written so you don't feel like you are missing anything with them being only a few pages long." ★★★★★

"Horrific tales, unexpected twists, dark situations, unexplained mysteries, and disturbing conclusions. Mark Tullius compiles 24 terrifyingly unsettling short stories for horror lovers - just make sure you leave the lights on when listening to them!" ★★★★★

“This audiobook was a good collection of stories that are perfect for Halloween. They range from believable to fantastical but were well done. There were a couple that were more gruesome than I expected but overall, this collection was more clever in its inferences than the outright statements of what was happening. I think the one that struck me most by surprise was The Season, narrated by Landon Woodson. That was well done in both chilling nature of the topic and how it was narrated. It will stick with me. The other narrators were a good match for their respective stories as well. They all did a great job and kept me listening. My other favorite is Chris Andrew Ciulla whose voice is wonderful for audiobooks and I adore listening to his work. The story Numbered Days was read by Michael David Axtell and my only criticism of this one is that I wanted more information about the backstory leading to this current situation. #UntoldMayhem #Netgalley #VincerePress #IBPAMembersAudiobooks”
“1 ★ as DNF. This book is a collection of short stories featuring taboo subjects, including murder and paedophilia. It also included paranormal inspired stories. I'll begin by saying the audiobook format is perfect for this style of book and it was a good choice as the stories are very short. While I'm a lover of crime fiction and true crime, this book didn't sit well with me and as such I was unable to completely finish. It made the impression that they were written for shock value and to unsettle the reader; and if this is true, it was successful in that regard. I felt like taking one or two or these ideas and exploring them as a full novel would make a bigger impact and draw readers in more. Overall I felt uncomfortable listening to these. However, the writing was good, clear and suited the quick stories well and I'm certain there is an audience who would enjoy this book.”
