About Charles Dudley Warner
Charles Dudley Warner (1829-1900) is best known for his 1873 collaboration with Mark Twain The Gilded Age. Born of Puritan stock in Massachusetts, his works include My Summer in a Garden and other volumes of nature and travel writing. He was active in prison reform, city park supervision, and other causes.
