Daun kelapa muda biasa disebut dengan janur. Janur memiliki bentuk yang hampir sama dengan daun pada kelapa hijau biasa, hanya saja memiliki sedikit perbedaan. Jika daun pada kelapa yang sudah tua berwarna hijau, daun pada kelapa muda ini masih berwarna hijau kekuning-kuningan. Selain dari warna tersebut, ciri-ciri lainnya masih sama dengan daun pada kelapa tua dimana daun ini memiliki daun tunggal dengan pertulangan menyirip yang menopang tiap helaian. Meskipun sedikit lunak, daun ini tumbuh tegak dengan panjang sekitar 3–4 meter yang bertoreh sangat dalam sehingga terlihat seperti daun majemuk.
Young coconut leaves are commonly known as janur. Janur has a shape that is almost the same as the leaves on ordinary green coconuts, it's just a little different. If the leaves on an old coconut are green, the leaves on a young coconut are still yellowish green. Apart from this color, other characteristics are still the same as the leaves on old coconuts where this leaf has a single leaf with pinnate bones that support each strand. Although a little soft, this leaf grows upright with a length of about 3-4 meters which is incised so deep that it looks like a compound leaf.
