“To jump right to it, at the verry start they acted like they knew each other for years,and the whole plot was smut right until past the halfway point. I didn't mind the book past the halfway point but I would've rathered more build and tension at the beginning. But it was alright. Personally wouldn't recommend”
“Soooooo…..yeah. The ONLY thing that saved this from being any lower was the lack of a third act breakup
• It was a cute read. That’s really all the good I can say about it. Otherwise? I struggled to pick it up (my pride is too high to DNF) & stay immersed in the world.
• I wish they touched on Nathan’s issues with his family & father specifically. It was mentioned in passing but then the issue was barely brought up until christmas? & then it was just kind of…let go in the end?
• Really didn’t like Anastasia’s ending. Didn’t touch at all what she did after national’s & then just slapping us with her being a gold medalist at the end when revealing her pregnancy? Personally, I think she deserved a bit more of an extended final chapter…
• Some of the other characters just kinda disappeared for periods of time 😭 like where was Lola? & Stassie & Henry are so close that they’re having heart to hearts but where did we see this development in their friendship explicitly defined? idkidk”
