Romance author Ali Hazelwood has switched genres with her new paranormal romance between a vampire and a werewolf, called “Bride.” She is mostly known for her STEMinist romance novels, which have gained incredible popularity over the past couple of years. These romances feature heroines in traditionally male-dominated fields, such as science, technology, and math. Now, Hazelwood is trying something different. This paranormal romance has allowed Hazelwood to delve into new tropes and dynamics with her trademark humor and delightful romantic chemistry. “Bride” has already proved to be a new favorite since its February 6th release this year, and has people talking about a “vampire renaissance.”
