Bio
Nina Waters is the pen name of Claire Houck/unforth, the founder of Duck
Prints Press. The pseudonym is very personal to her—Nina was her
childhood nickname (derived from her middle name, Penina, which was also
her grandmother’s name) and Waters is a translation of her mother’s
maiden name. Originally, Nina decided to use a pen name when she was
working on an angst-ridden musical about unrequited love as a way of
nursing a broken heart. The broken heart faded with time, but the pen
name stayed!
