About the Folio

I’ve been a seeker for as long as I can remember. I’ve always found inspiration at the intersection of modern and ancient wisdom. My mission is to change work from the inside out by mainstreaming mindfulness and operationalizing compassion, bringing ancient concepts to the business world. In this Folio, I share some of the research and reading that have inspired me in my quest to reshape the consciousness of our workplaces by introducing more compassion.

Breath

By James Nestor
Breathing is the foundation of meditation and mindfulness. If we slow down and just breathe, we can tap into that deeper and more inspired part of ourselves — our spirit, the True Self, soul. There’s so much more to the science of breathing than I ever imagined, and James Nestor gives us a comprehensive history of the art and science of breathing. Along the way, you’ll learn some life-changing breathing exercises.
