Bio

Sònia Albert is a Spanish illustrator currently living in Cambridge, England. She was born in Barcelona and was raised in Mataró, just a step off the mesmerizing Mediterranean Sea. After graduating from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona with a degree in Audiovisual Communication, she studied illustration at La Llotja art school. Soon after graduating, she started working in comics illustration at ComicUp studio, and is now working on a master's degree in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Sònia is eagerly looking forward to filling children's books with her creations . . . her true passion.
