Robert Turner (1915-1980) was an American author, born in New York, New York. His writing experience ranged from television to small magazines to major print brands throught the 1940s and 50s. He wrote the ubiquitous title Pulp Fiction a sort of impromptu guideline for how the genre would be written and composed by an experienced master of the craft.
