What's your favorite TV show?
Happy World Television Day!
In 1996, the United Nations general assembly created this day to recognize television as having a large impact on globalization, decision making, and the entertainment industry. On this day in 1996, the UN held the first World Television Forum, where media figures discussed the growing significance of TV in the world. Television is a major symbol of communication that serves to inform, entertain, and influence people's opinions and perceptions. UN leaders understood that it could raise awareness for conflicts and important issues.
Today I'm celebrating by sharing some of my favorite shows and I figured it could be a fun thread to start here on Fable!
My favorite shows include "Arcane", "Parks and Recreation", "Broad City", and "The Haunting of Hill House".
