What book do you wish got more attention?
Welcome back to "Tell Me About It," a tradition kicked off by my fellow editor, Ellen Savage. It's pretty simple: one Fable editor shares a book that meant something to them, and then you tell us about one book you wish more people were reading in the comments.
My pick for this week is “All Down Darkness Wide” by Seán Hewitt. While technically a memoir—it’s a true story about first queer loves, mental illness, and the devotion we feel toward others—it reads like a novel, so it’s perfect for any kind of reader! Lately, I’ve found so many great queer novels that have stuck with me, but this one specifically has filled a chasm in my soul that I didn’t know needed fixing.
