Is “Heated Rivalry” getting a season two?
“Heated Rivalry” is returning for another season! Season one hasn’t even finished and Crave and HBO Max have already secured season two. The gay rivals to lovers hockey romance show has been all the hype since it premiered on November 28th. Just a few weeks of this show being out is already shifting the conversation around queer media–Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” series the show is based on is sold out in stores everywhere and the internet is buzzing with positive reviews and reactions to the show. The main couple–Illya and Shane–have viewers around the world invested in their romance.
Details haven’t been shared about season two yet, but Hudson Williams, who plays Shane Hollander, teased what fans can expect from the new season: “Hotter, wetter, and longer.” This new season will follow the sequel to “Heated Rivalry, ” “The Long Game,” which is the sixth book in the “Game Changers” series.
