Shockingly already dated. This was published in 2017 and it’s horrifying to see how far the US has already fallen down the tyrannical pipeline.
This has amazing talking points but it’s very evident it was written by a liberal Democrat wherein the sources Snyder uses to make his point are anti communist and pro Reagan policies. However, I think because of Snyder’s way of using his sources, this would be a great read to give to someone you’re trying to sway from the far right.
Also, in case you still don’t think this applies to you, if you are MAGA, pro ICE, pro Israel, or anti human rights in ANY way (abortion, LGBTQ, or immigrants to name a few) then congrats! You’re part of this tyrannical regime and are in fact on the wrong side of history.

If you are a well-meaning western white people, like myself, this book is going to make you really uncomfortable. You must read it.
