About David and Pat Alexander

David Alexander (BA, Oxford University) and Pat Alexander (BA, Bristol University) are the founders of Lion Publishing, where for 23 years David was director and chair and Pat was editorial director for adult, children's, and educational lists. Together they produced the original Lion Handbook to the Bible.

Michael F. Bird

Michael F. Bird (PhD, University of Queensland) is Deputy Principal and Lecturer in Theology at Ridley College, Australia. He is the author of numerous scholarly and popular books on the New Testament and theology, including Evangelical Theology, Seven Things I Wish Christians Knew about the Bible, and with N. T. Wright,?The New Testament in Its World.

Nancy Guthrie

Nancy Guthrie (MATS, Reformed Theological Seminary) teaches the Bible at her home church, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, in Franklin, Tennessee, as well as at conferences around the country and internationally, including through her Biblical Theology Workshop for Women. She is the author of numerous books and the host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast from The Gospel Coalition.

Esau McCaulley

Esau McCaulley is Assistant Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He is also a priest in the Anglican Church in North America where he serves as Canon for Leadership Development, which involves oversight of the recruitment and formation of Anglican clergy. He is also one of the directors of Call and Response ministries , an organization committed to hosting conferences and creating resources for Black and Multi-ethnic churches.

Lucy Peppiatt

Lucy Peppiatt (PhD, Otago) is the principal of Westminster Theological Centre. Her research interests are Christ and the Spirit, charismatic theology, discipleship, and 1 Corinthians, and her books include Unveiling Paul's Women and Women and Worship in Corinth.

Dr. Richard Bauckham

Richard J. Bauckham is Lecturer in the History of Christian Thought at the Univeristy of Manchester, England. He holds the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cambridge. He has published articles in The Journal of Theological Studies, The Reformed Journal, Evangelical Quarterly, and Tyndale Bulletin, and is a specialist in the area of eschatology and apocalypticism

Dr. John Goldingay

John Goldingay (PhD, University of Nottingham; DD, Archbishop of Canterbury at Lambeth) is professor of Old Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary, but lives in Oxford, England. His numerous books include An Introduction to the Old Testament, A Reader’s Guide to the Bible, Reading Jesus’s Bible, and commentaries on Psalms, Isaiah, and Daniel. He has also authored Biblical Theology, the three-volume Old Testament Theology, and the seventeen-volume Old Testament for Everyone series, and has published a translation of the entire Old Testament called The First Testament: A New Translation.  

Caryn A. Reeder

Caryn A. Reeder (PhD, University of Cambridge) is professor of New Testament and co-coordinator of the Gender Studies program at Westmont College. Her books include The Enemy in the Household: Family Violence in Deuteronomy and Beyond and Gendering War and Peace in the Gospel of Luke.
