Publisher Description

When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.

Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They’re preparing for their lavish wedding that's three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him.

Naomi wants out, but there's a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare.

But with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they're finally being themselves—and having fun with the last person they expect: each other.

Thinking Face“The book was ok but they went from wanting to call everything off to all lovey. It wasn’t believable and why it went wrong could have been told better throughout the book.”

Thinking Face“The premise of this story was so promising! The book had some great one liners and a fun setting (best read in fall/winter not a spring break read). Being stuck in Naomi’s internal monologue didn’t work for me. She was really toxic. I wish we had Nicholas’s perspective. There wasn’t enough background introduced to understand why she stopped loving him. Then Naomi spends so much time viscerally hating Nicholas, there was never a compelling enough reason for me to believe in their love in the end.”

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“This book ruined me in the best way possible !! It took me 10 books to get over it and start reading again. It hit so much better than Just Like Magic in the sense I could see this being a really great Rom-Com movie and I would watch it on repeat just to have the feels again. New favourite Rom Com book !! Words can't explain it but y'all would know what I mean”

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“This book gave me all the feels. I’ll be honest, the first couple of chapters had me questioning whether I would like it or not - there isn’t much romance/tension/etc in the beginning, BUT PLS KEEP GOING. As you flip the pages, you’ll see the tension starting to bleed into the pages. The emotions resurfacing. The butterflies will flutter throughout all your organs istg. An absolute must read for all my romance lovers out there!!”

Expressionless Face“Naomi and Nicholas are so toxic for each other that you wonder how they even got engaged in the first place. You start off annoyed, then Team Naomi then you have a perspective shift and become Team Nicholas. “I’m Team Deborah” - said NO ONE EVER! You Deserve Each Other takes you on a roller coaster of emotions (mostly anger towards Naomi’s overthinking) as the pair find themselves again and take on the ‘vampires’ together! Now I need a version from Nicholas’ POV!”
