About Nedjetti Harvey

Nedjetti Harvey's calling as a Natural Hair & Locs Spiritual Gardener solidifies the infusion of her Spiritual journey. Hair Artistry is far more than just styling hair; it is a synergistic path for Nedjetti to share love energy with others. Nedjetti's passion in helping people feel transformed, joyous, and empowered led her to reflect on the deeper aspects of a blessed life, which inspired her to write her memoir. In her writing, Nedjetti delves into the personal challenges and triumphant experiences that have shaped her life, not only as a Natural Hair & Locs salon owner and entrepreneur, but also as a Spiritual guide. Nedjetti's memoir offers pivotal lessons and life-altering moments, aiming to inspire others to embrace their true selves and celebrate their unique BeYOUty. Nedjetti's inspirational story is a Divine testament to the power of following one's passion and living a life in alignment with one's purpose.

Nedjetti's connection to nurturing natural hair runs deep in her family lineage. Her maternal grandmother, Ruth P. Harris, was also a Cosmetologist, and her paternal grandfather, King Harvey, Sr., was a Barber. King Harvey Sr. and mogul Steve Harvey's father Jesse Harvey were brothers. Nedjetti and Steve are second cousins, weaving a rich tapestry of family ties within the entertainment industry—ties that are reflected in Nedjetti's personal enriching journey detailed in her memoir.

Nedjetti's legacy in the world as a Natural Hair and Locs Spiritual Gardener reflects over thirty years of heartfelt commitment.  Nedjetti made HERstory by planting her family's Hair Artistry legacy—rooted in love, dedication, and passion—at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, DC. In the 1993 natural hair book "Where Beauty Touches Me," created by pioneer Natural Hair Guru Pamela Ferrell, 26-year-old Nedjetti is photographed as a hair model adorned with African Goddess Braids. Additionally, Nedjetti's Diamond Bantu Knots, created in 1999, grace the cover of ESSENCE's 2011 Hot Hair magazine as the second insert photo. Both publications are proudly displayed in the same exhibit glass case, allowing the world to witness Nedjetti's Natural Hair Artistry impact.

Hair Me Out, look out for Nedjetti's @TED Talks in God's guiDANCE manifestation transit.
