The first volume in this book is intended to thrill all age groups, but especially the younger audience. 
The second volume in this book is intended to please early teens and, again, all age groups. 
The third volume in this book is intended to satisfy ages from late teens to grandparents. 
Under Sadine's guidance as Village Mother, the growing elf village was divided into two. Her reasoning is that a smaller village can respond to emergencies faster than one large village. 
Kadine and Sadine are best friends from childhood through their individual acceptance of their Village Mother positions.
