Worlds of the Parallel Universe

By David Price
Worlds of the Parallel Universe by David Price digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

I am the celestial watcher, an immortal, omnipresent entity that observes the unfolding events of this universe and the other realms of the multiverse. I was conscious at the beginning and will witness its inevitable end. For this universe is finite, an isolated bubble, only one of many bubbles of alternative realities in this universe and separated by a corridor, an ether, beyond which exists parallel universes, in which the physical laws of this universe do not apply. I know this for I was once mortal like you and attained this higher plane of existence through transcendence. I am aware that there are two other celestial watchers. I sense them at the boundary edges of the three zones that overlap like a Venn diagram, and between us three, we watch over the whole expanse of this universe and down into the strata layers of the multiverse. We have the ability to influence the subconscious mind of the masses by leaving ideas in the minds of mortals in their dreams and manipulating their conscious minds in their waking hours. It is a powerful tool to influence the collective mind, suggest courses of action, manipulate decisions, and change destinies, although the ancestors would not agree with us. And the ancestors in your present time, Earth year 2042, are on the museum planet of Oceanid, orbiting the star Quaestor Minor in the Cygnus constellation.

About David Price

My name is David J. Price, and I was born in Wolverhampton, England, and I am currently sixty-seven. I now live in Sedgley near Dudley, England. I gained IQA qualifications and worked as a quality assurance manager before retiring in 2013. I am also qualified at HNC in computing and enjoy creating digital artwork. I wrote a short story in 1998 and realized I enjoyed creative writing. This led to entering writing competitions where I gained a special merit from the Writers Guild for a children’s story submitted. In 2013, I published a collection of short stories in the science fiction/fantasy genre aimed at children and young adults. The latter story of this collection involved much historical research on a prestigious 1902 exhibition held in my hometown and included an appendix of contemporary photographs of the period. These stories were self-published as a collection by New Generation Publishing (London) in 2013 as a first edition (ISBN 978-1-909740-41-9) and was later reformatted and republished as a second edition by BookLocker.com, Inc (Florida, USA) in 2015 (ISBN 978-1-63490-774-3), and again by self-publishing route under the title Tom & Emily’s Incredible Adventure to the World of the Gossamerians. In March 2014, I published my first science fiction novel entitled An Alien Legacy: The Cygnus and Pictor Connection with AuthorHouse UK Ltd with some involvement in cover design and creative inserts of my own digital artwork. This was published in hardback, paperback, and e-book formats. Following on from that, I now publish this sequel novel entitled Worlds of the Parallel Universe, a work of true novel length, with the same publisher.
