“It was a pretty good werewolf novel, but I felt like a lot of the characters didn’t mesh very well. I was also hoping for a bit more of a detailed transformation but beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose! I didn’t find myself caring for a few of the main characters, none of them were very likable. 3 1/2 stars”

“This was everything a werewolf novel should be - bloody, comedic at times, and a furiously fun ride. While this is my first experience with Jonathan Janz, I’m excited to see he has a decent backlist, and I’ll definitely be checking out more of his work in the future. While I mostly loved this book, there were a few things I could have lived without. Melody was an exasperating character. I didn’t enjoy her storyline at all, it felt over the top and gratuitous, her situation wildly unbelievable. I could understand her hesitancy to leave home if she were still a teenager, but the woman was nearly thirty.”
