“I'm not gonna lie, it helped that I have watched to TV show before reading. I felt the book was a bit long. It dragged on places that I felt didn't need it. I could have done without the mud people completely. I enjoyed having Chase along for the ride (he wasn't in the show). Goodkind also did a good job of making you feel sympathy for Denna. Overall it was well written with interesting world building and wonderful characters.”
