“This is Book#5 in the Deputies of Anderson County series but can be read as a standalone book.
This tells the story of Detective Doug Olsen and Tabitha (Beth) Wilson.
Doug and his team are trying to protect Tabitha (Beth) from her ex-boyfriend and his goons.
This is an edge of your seat, action packed book from start to finish.
Both Doug and Tabitha (Beth) have to find their inner strength and find the courage to fight against their fears which draws them closer together.

“We finally get Doug’s story and it is oh so worth the wait! The story was exciting and one I really liked. The ending definitely held some surprises and I hope we see these characters again in future stories as this series comes to a close with this book. I also hope that a character from this story gets their own story someday. A fun finish to a wonderful series!

You'll never expect the twist at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. While it can be read as a standalone, each book is amazing, and I suggest reading them all.
