“My first thoughts when it finished was “wow that was such a sweet book” and it truly was. Also, as a general rule I don’t do kids and love stories in books. It’s just one of my rules. But Toni can change a girls mind because River was too cute in this! Made my mamas heart happy. Lastly, you should pick up this book because if there is something Toni does well, it’s food and books. Y’all get your appetites going cuz there’s some noteworthy bites with the swoony moments going on here.
*thank you to the author and publisher for an advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own*”

“You guys already know I love a good Toni Shiloh book. Any time she has a new one coming out, it immediately goes on my TBR. Whether it be an indie book or a book published by a big name publisher, I’m there for it. One of the best things about Love Inspired books is that they are shorter so it makes for a quick and easy read, but I never feel like Toni Shiloh rushes her stories in these shorter formats.
I really found myself rooting for Jordan. After making some less than ideal decisions in life, she was trying so hard to be taken seriously by those around her. I found myself internally yelling at her brother to give her a chance (especially after having read Her Christmas Redemption knowing he had learned some lessons he could have applied in Jordan’s case!). Anyway, I think she really does a great job of showing just how capable she can be as she helps Declan with his business. Then of course Declan. I always have a soft spot for a good male lead as a female reader. He was so swoony as such a caring, loving single dad.
But ugh, let me tell you, River’s mother was a piece of work. The way her character was written really had me disliking her. So kudos to the author for being able to embody less than ideal characters just as well as the ones we want to root for. I was so glad when certain things (left vague to keep away any potential spoilers) started going in Declan’s favor. River was such a sweet kid and really deserved better.
It seems like the future for books for the rest of the Wood siblings is really up in the air at this point, but if those ever do come into existence, you know I will be reading those too! I feel like Chuck and Pippin both have stories just begging to be told too.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary and honest review.”
