“GOD DAMN! At first I was expecting to give it less stars because I thought it was going to be predictable. You know like the new boy, Cole, arrives. He seems perfect but he’s the one who keeps finding bodies everywhere. No one else. So I was like ok, it’s Dr Patel and Cole let’s just move on. But then FUCKING HELL! I was not expecting Elizabeth to be a psycho 🥰🥰 loved it. I love when the women are the psychos because female psychopaths are just smarter. I loved at the end reading Dr Patel going hysterical. And also I loved how the murderer’s thought are interwoven with the story as separate chapters. Obviously it doesn’t say who the murderer is, but at every point I was between Cole or Dr Patel. Never Elizabeth. Also the way all the head girls were dying were creative. And it wasn’t very descriptive (sadly) but there was a good description of the gore which I liked. It’s only not 5 stars because I would have liked it if Elizabeth could have a bit more time being psycho. Because she only got two chapters where you actually know she’s a psycho. I guess you also have the murderer perspective chapters but you don’t know it’s her at that point.
Anyway, I agree with Elizabeth right at the end, because her and Cole do date, he is now head boy so they get like a full scholarship or something. But Elizabeth is there being like “He doesn’t have to know everything”. I AGREE! ☝️ It’s ok if you’re a psycho, your boyfriend doesn’t need to know. He can love the normal version of you, just keep the psycho quiet.
Overall, loved the book because I was not expecting everything like that. I thought it would be the predictable ending that it’s the new student, but it being the narrator just adds the whole thing about a biased and untruthful narrator. Kind of want to read it again to pick out everything 🤭🤭”
