By Taryn Leigh Taylor
Wicked Pleasure by Taryn Leigh Taylor digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

She thought she was immune to a deliciously sexy playboy’s charm. But this one lives up to every inch of his wicked reputation! Book three in Taryn Leigh Taylor’s The Business of Pleasure series.

AJ should definitely not be here. Breaking into enemy territory—especially a billionaire tech playboy’s home—is foolish…and just the sort of thing hacker AJ lives for. To get the dirt on Liam Kearney, she poses as a guest at one of his lavish, decadent parties. Nothing prepared AJ for a man this gorgeous, this charming and whose devilish eyes promise oh-so-much trouble.

A hot fling with her sexy enemy was never part of AJ’s master plan…nor is this insatiable craving for more.

This isn’t just a game anymore. As the stakes get higher, so, too, does the white-hot attraction sizzling between AJ and Liam. Loyalties, reputations, careers are all on the line. But AJ is a survivor. She’s always known how to walk that dangerous line and not get burned. Only, this time she might be in way over her head.

Sexy. Passionate. Bold. Discover Harlequin Dare, a new line of fun, edgy and sexually explicit romances for the fearless female.

“I loved the antics and competive edge to our main characters. They just run with what the other has put down. They keep each other on their toes. I loved the setup--they meet as AJ's trying to break into Liam's computer at his house party. There's a temporary truce while they team up to trace the Whitmore hack. Ofc this just brings them closer together. A little resistance here. A little step back there. But it mostly goes as expected and they fall for each other. Then it's the classic struggle to accept love. The writing is natural. The dialogue and rapport between our mc feels true and realistic. The characters play with archetypes that I am already partial to aka the guarded girl and jaded billionaire with depth. The plot and romance is fun. The core conflict--trust and acceptance of love, is common to romance as a genre. But I think Taylor's execution is what makes it her own. The "I am proud of you" moment: I am glad it was said outright and not only shown. It's something that the recipient needed to hear word for word. It's a testament to Taylor's character work and dialogue that it felt so natural. It fits our pair's dynamic and language. It works with the tone.”

About Taryn Leigh Taylor

Taryn Leigh Taylor likes dinosaurs, bridges and space, both personal and of the final-frontier variety. She shamelessly indulges in cliches, most notably her Starbucks addiction, her shoe hoard and her penchant for falling in lust with fictional men with great abs. She also really loves books, which is what sent her down the crazy path of writing one in the first place. For more on Taryn, check out tarynleightaylor.com, facebook.com/tarynltaylor1 and twitter.com/tarynltaylor.
