“Recommended to me by my Mom, who adored the male lead, Wicked and the Wallflower proved to be an engaging read. The banter between the main characters is sharp and entertaining, and their dynamic feels well-balanced throughout much of the story.
However, I struggled with the female protagonist’s persistent insecurity, which at times overshadowed the otherwise lively exchanges. The conclusion also fell short for me—while the pacing leading up to it was strong, the ending felt rushed and less satisfying than the buildup deserved.
Overall, the novel shines in its character chemistry and witty dialogue, but its resolution left me wanting more.”About Sarah MacLean
