“Not much to say about this one. It's definitely a Wiccan book. While there's definitely stuff worth reading and reworking, some of the information is just wrong. Not sure if it's outdated or just straight up wrong, but Wicca and Witchcraft are not one and the same thing for example, despite the author continually claiming it to be. Glad i borrowed this one from the library instead of buying it.”
“It’s fine. A look at Gardnerian Wicca circa 2004. The only thing that annoyed me was the insistence that "confessions" made by those accused and tortured as witches have any value in informing the practices of modern-day witches, Wiccans and pagans (or historians). Those confessions were extracted to justify the heinous treatment of people by the State (political and religious states, usually both). It’s not the end of the world if there isn’t a clear, uninterrupted and provable line of witches going back centuries. It’s not the only way to validity.”
“This was THE book that lead me on the path I'm on today. Wicca For One is an excellent book for beginning to the path of Wicca. I purchased this back in 2004 and read it from cover to cover and have re-read it several times since then. It's an excellent book for anyone interested in Wicca. It remains my favorite Wicca book.”
