“Embarrassingly, I never realized that Levi Strauss was a person; I just thought of that name as a brand of jeans. I learned a lot of really interesting facts about Levi and his iconic company while reading this book. One thing I enjoy about this series is that the books show the history of a historical icon in the context of what’s going on in the world. This helps the reader see how world events paved the way for the icon’s success.”
