“🎧 It isn't very often when the second book is better than the first.... but I have to say that this is one!
I really enjoyed both of these books, dont get me wrong. But. This book tied everything together so marvelously and still had me guessing. I love Whit and his relationship with Inez . Loved how it grew and really became what it needed to be for them both. The rogue was a good guy after all. 😏
These books definitely give me all the 'mummy' vibes with the perfect amount of suspense and intrigue.
The author did leave an opening to the possibility of a third book.... and I would be so down to read it if she ever writes it! No cliffhanger, but the possibility is there. 🥰”
