“Qotd: Which book have you read under second chance trope?
Devika, protagonist of the book hails from the capital of India & relocated somewhere in the beautiful mountains of Kullu.
She has taken the job of Head Chef at a renowned restaurant in Kullu with the help of her best friend Sara. In Kullu, her path crossed to the aggressive personality Sachin with whom she had arguments on mostly matters. Although, Sachin always enjoy the time whenever he encounters with Devika but latter ones feel irritated.
This book has introduced a new term for lovers trope & it consists of frenemy to best friends. It caters to heartbreaking moments, painful, loss, love, aggression & possessiveness. Ultimately, Devika & Sachin fall for each other as said second chance are always the best.
The character development was not upto the mark. Few loopholes were seen like grammatical errors, narration style was slow & more emphasis should have given in highlighting the places of Kullu.
For beginners or rom com lovers, it can be a good start to read it to have a feel of second chance romance novel.”

✨In this book, we can read, that when two people have their fears and they always want to take the right step in the relationship to make it forever it’s not an easy thing for them. I get that, it takes a lot of time over to come and give comfort, love, care, and trust to each other, but when you know that you have these in between two people who are in a relationship, they’re just forever.
✨From the start to the end, it’s interesting to read, we can read two different people fall in love with each other. And, the lines the author included in the book are just amazing. I just like those beautiful words in the book.”
