“The premise of this book is to relive the 1987-88 NBA season through the lens of four all-time great players: Michael Jordan, Isaiah Thomas, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson. The premise is that this year was the greatest season of all time.
And Cohen does an amazing job of chronicling the season with the years that led up to it, and the ebbs and flows of the entire year. It simultaneously tells the stories of these four players and how this season was reflective of their greatness.
This is a great basketball book and I highly recommend it!”
