“The characters were annoying. The back and forth of wanting to be together but afraid to speak up. The confident in Mari in getting what she wants but too afraid to tell Javi so she beats around the bush. Javi, waiting till they’re at the alter to finally confess his love. I knew the dad had something to do with it. I almost thought they weren’t getting their happy ending with how much they both held back. After the second hook up, it should’ve been a giveaway 😳 story kinda dragged and the story was kinda flat, but it wasn’t too bad.”
“I loved this story. Having the flashbacks to show their friendship in contrast to where they are in the present made me more invested. I wasn't expecting the first sex scene when it happened. It snuck up on me and was a bit of a surprise which was actually kinda nice. Overall a cute romance with a satisfying conclusion.”
“This book has you in a constant revolving door of "Will they? Won't they?" and, realistically, these two were the type of friends that were never really "Just Friends".”
