What's French for Oops?

By Amy Blythe
What's French for Oops? by Amy Blythe digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Jean has the perfect nannying job in London—her only complaint, a sexy stranger in a pub who doesn't call her the next day.

Matt wants to give his kids every opportunity, so jumps at the chance to live abroad. Half-way through pitching the idea to his ex-wife, in comes the new nanny. Dancing with Jean was the most spontaneous thing he's done since the night his son was conceived. And now he's taking her to Paris… as his employee.

Jean doesn't speak a word of French, but she'll do anything to make the kids happy. Matt is used to making the rules, and having them followed. Stuck in a too-small apartment, they soon rub each other up the wrong way. But there's no getting away from the sizzling attraction between them.

What could be the harm in giving in just once?

“Cute story set mostly in Paris, that alone is a win for me. I liked the chemistry between the main characters and the development of Jean throughout the story. A couple of things weren't too believable for me, but I accept it could be viable in a different context. I will definitely continue the series.”
“Jean has recently moved to London from New Zealand. On a night out, She meets a handsome stranger and almost had a one night stand but instead gave her phone number. He never calls. She shows up to her nanny job only to discover the handsome stranger is her new boss and they are moving to Paris for a few months. Things I did not like: Matt appeared to think Jean wasn't smart and had a few sexist opinions Matt was pretty rude to Jean especially in the beginning Matt did not understand how hard it is to learn a language and to move while being a kid/teen Things I did like: jean trying to have Paris experiences alone and with the children Jean looking out for the kids as if they were hers even coming up against Matt when it would be easier for her to go along with him Harry and Jean's relationship TW: alcohol cheating (ex wife and MMC prior to the book) Hospitalization I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.”
“⭐️ 3.5 /5 Thank you BookSirens and Amy Blythe for this free copy and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily. This is a fun, light-hearted story, which sometimes is just all you really need. The dual POV is a bonus! The writing is easy to read and it did pretty well in eliciting that excitement that comes with forbidden romance. The sneaking/hiding really adds to that tension. Although, I wish there was more of it to really bring it home, but it’s enough if you’re looking for a quick read like this one. I had fun reading those “clumsy” moments like the shower scene”
