“I had an intuition about this book, the story before going in that it would be the kind of story my heart inclines towards.
And I was right. Even though it is YA high-school story of two troubled teenagers, it is also a story about unexpected connections and finding your tribe. It is about figuring out how to navigate life after some shocking turn of events, who to trust and who to be vulnerable with.
It is sweet and has depth which I incredibly loved. It was not light and a breezy read but somehow exactly what I needed to read.
I loved both the MMC & FMC especially their unique characteristics and personality.”
