“I mostly enjoyed this book. There was a twist that I had a feeling was going to happen. The first third of the book you kind of feel like you're waiting for the big climax. It does come and it was pretty good. This wasn't super creepy, but decently so when the main part of the story does happen. It has very classic horror movie themes.
I feel like it didn't really have a full ending and that was disappointing. Making a reader read a second book for an ending is frustrating for me. I want a full story in the first book. Then expand in the second. That takes away a star for me.
For at least half of the book, I found it very hard to keep up with each character's POV. There are 6 and it's hard to remember who is who.
Overall, it was a good read. I enjoyed reading it. However, I don't think I will be continuing or keeping this book though. I feel like it's a one and done sort of book for me.”
