“My first taste of thrillers was R.L. Stine as a kid and I wanted to see if I still got the same thrill from reading his stories. These were my introduction to this genre and I will always like them....even now as an adult with kids of my own. They never lost their spunk and I still can see why Mr. Stine is a favorite for every generation. I look forward to collected the stories again and revisiting a piece of my childhood.”Ali V

The eerie atmosphere is set right from the start as Amanda and Josh move into their new home in Dark Falls, only to realize that something isn’t quite right.
What makes this book stand out is Stine’s ability to create a vivid and unsettling atmosphere. His descriptions are so immersive that I felt like I was inside the story, experiencing the creeping dread alongside the characters. The suspense builds steadily, keeping you hooked as Amanda and Josh uncover the terrifying truth about their new home.
The pacing is quick, making it an easy and engaging read. While the story follows familiar horror tropes, it does so in a way that still feels fresh and spooky. I genuinely found myself spooked at times, which is a testament to Stine’s storytelling.
