About Christina Boufis
Christina Boufis is the author of jail mystery series set in San Francisco. The first book, The Cruelest Month, introduces an unlikely amateur sleuth—a teacher at a San Francisco jail who has a knack for finding trouble and dead bodies.
A former academic with a PhD in Victorian literature and Women's Studies, Christina spent nearly eight years teaching women in the San Francisco County Jail.
As C.B. Peterson, she is the author of a domestic thriller, I Want Him Dead. Christina's mystery short stories have appeared in Pulphouse Fiction Magazine, Kings River Life Magazine, and Larceny and Last Chances anthology.
