  • Editors and contributors are already well-connected in the independent media as go-to guests for Occupy-related stories. We'll be placing an RTIR ad to promote the editors as key guests for commentary on Occupy-related stories in Fall 2012.

  • We expect excerpts from the book and selected reviews in in left media such as Yes Magazine, Z Magazine, Counterpunch, Mother Jones, Adbusters, and etc.

  • Online promotion via Alternet, Truthout, OccupyNews,The Indypendent, and etc.

  • Publicity and promotion in conjunction with the 99 to 1 roadshow/book tour. See "Author Tour" for cities.

  • Promotion via the national Occupy Network mailing lists and message boards.

  • Stickers and other promotional material available in Summer 2012.

  • Editors will attend a variety of national and international Occupy gatherings throughout 2012, and raise awareness around the book.

  • A companion website to collect and feature movement stories will develop throughout the spring and help to promote the book amongst a community of online readers directly engaged with the Occupy Movement.

  • Contributors will promote the book via their personal and institutional websites.

    Margaret Killjoy: Margaret Killjoy is an itinerant author, editor, photographer, and graphic designer, and the co-founder of Combustion Books. In addition to editing Steampunk Magazine and Graceless, Margaret is the author of What Lies Beneath the Clocktower (Combustion Books, 2011) and the editor of Mythmakers & Lawbreakers: Anarchist Writers on Fiction (AK Press, 2009).
