“I was first intrigued by this book based on the fact that it was his ex’s sister stepping into their lives and him falling in love with her. It’s such a complex trope but it was done very well.
When I tell you that this is a slow burn, I mean it’s a SLOW BURN. But in the best way! The chemistry between Beau and Hallie steadily builds and the way the pieces of the puzzle fall together happens effortlessly.
The resolution to the conflict near the end was chefs kiss! I loved getting both Hallie and Beau sharing vulnerable truths with one another. Their character growth was seamless and so satisfying. The supporting characters throughout the story were integral to them getting together and allowing themselves to be “selfish” in wanting each other and ultimately saying, “f*ck it.”
Im excited to see what’s next in the Grosvenor Ranch series!”

This was my first book by paisley hope and it for sure won't be my last!
Im a sucker for a good cowboy romance and when that cowboy is a single dad to girls im falling head over heels.
This book is about a girl named Hallie who moves back to her home town to be a primary school teacher.
On her first night in town at a bar she meets this guy named Beau and they hit it off.
I love the story line in this book and just the deep found family aspect of this story.

These two are honestly perfect for each other, and I just need more of them in my life, to be honest. Their nicknames for each other were adorable, and the twins?! I loved them!
And can we talk about Beau for a second? Because he might just be my new favourite daddy. 😂👀
This book had me smiling, swooning, and never wanting it to end.
