Bryan Thomas Schmidt is the editor of Blue Shift Magazine and an author and editor of adult and children's speculative fiction. His debut novel, The Worker Prince (2011) received Honorable Mention on Barnes & Noble Book Club's Year's Best Science Fiction Releases for 2011. A sequel The Returning followed in 2012 and The Exoduswill appear in 2013, completing the space opera Saga Of Davi Rhii.

His short stories have appeared in magazines, anthologies and online. M. Pax is author of the sci-fi series, The Backworlds, and the new adult science fiction fantasy The Renaissance of Hetty Locklear. A Browncoat and SG fan, she's also slightly obsessed with Jane Austen. In the summers she docents as a star guide at Pine Mountain Observatory where the other astronomers now believe she has the most extensive collection of moon photos in existence. Berin grew up in Chugiak, Alaska. He is a professional saxophone performer and teacher. He currently lives in Orem, Utah with his wife and five children.

His latest book, Time Gangsters, is a middle grade urban fantasy about two 12 year old cousins who discover magical Egyptian coins buried in their bedroom walls and that there are gangsters traveling through time from 1927 to get them back.
