“Similar to the previous entries, but with one advantage: it's a sea adventure! I love sea adventures and I was not disappointed.
I enjoyed the new characters - unfortunately we will probably not see them in the next book. Except for Jake, I am looking forward to his further development.
This book brings new adventures, including new dragons, politics and most importantly, more shenanigans by Isabella 🤭
And as always, even though the setting is so different and even though I am in a completely different field, as a scientist, I find a lot of her character relatable.
My only downside: I can't really explain why, but at some points I lacked the motivation to pick up the book and continue reading. Maybe it is my generally state of mind, but maybe it is also the novelty of the concept wearing off a bit and I'm starting to feel bored? Well, nevertheless I am looking forward to book 4!”
