“At first, the writing is immersive, incredibly descriptive, but quickly turns hard to continue to follow due to its slow buildup. But it works well with how the story flows and how the repetitive everyday, incredibly descriptive narrative fits with the protagonist's perspective. However, the conclusion to the story wasn't as satisfying as it would have been if it were more morbid as she originally thought.”Leri 🕷️

Scott Thomas was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, and attended the University of Kansas. He is the author of Kill Creek, as well as the Co-Creator/Executive Producer of Disney Channel’s Best Friends Whenever and Disney XD’s Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. Recently, he co-wrote the MTV horror trilogy My Super Psycho Sweet 16 and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his work on R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour. He lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife and two daughters. Violet is his second novel.
