For the desert tribes cannot survive without the magic of their gods. But the journey is dangerous, even with a god’s help. And not everyone is willing to believe the trickster god’s tale.

“This had such a great concept and I was absolutely in love with the first half of the book. I was reading this so fast and soaking up every chapter, wanting to know what would happen next. But, after a certain point, my drive to finish it hit a wall at a specific scene near the end and I had to force myself to continue which I found quite exhausting.
First half is honesly a solid 4.5. It was just the last 85% that didn't grab me.”
