I’m completely at her mercy (why would I want to be anywhere else). This technically second chance, complicated mutual friends to lovers is filled with jealousy, misunderstandings, and the most satisfying character arc for our FMC. Vera Stein is mighty fine, but you’ll have to read it to find out for yourself”
