“I meant to read this in high school, but Twilight had such a chokehold on me that I never picked this one up. In high school this book would have five stars and I’d love it so much. As an adult the romance between a 17 year old and 24 year old mentor is very icky. I really hate that both character mention why it’s wrong. The worst scene is definitely when the compulsion spell is in effect absolutely awful. I did like how the author made different POV device convenient but not overwhelming.”Reviewed in:Twilight Talk’s Book Club
