“This was so intriguing. The back story on why Martha resented Mary even as a little child was so challenging to my faith and understanding.

This book perfectly encapsulates Ecclesiastes 3:11. Truly, He makes all things beautiful in His time!!
Martha… a girl who grew up too fast and carries too much on her young shoulders… a woman just trying to survive and make it through the pain…
Mary… a young woman desperate for someone to see her and know her and choose to love her anyway…
Lazarus… a man grappling to rise beyond the gall of rejection and stay free from the weight of bitterness…
And the Carpenter from Nazareth who comes to heal them all.
I laughed, I cried, I squealed, I thought deep thoughts. It was glorious. 😭 I will absolutely be picking up this author’s next books.
