“Continuing with my Hispanic/Latine Heritage month book reviews, today’s pick is Unexpectedly wed to the heir by Lydia San Andres First things first: I absolutely loved this novel, and I couldn’t hold this wonderful story all to myself. Y’all need to read this one too. This is the 4th book of her Caribbean Courtship series. I read and really enjoyed the first, and now absolutely loved her latest. I just have to catch up with books 2 and 3. But do not despair, you don’t need to read these in order. I loved Aura’s and Eduardo’s story. The historical setting, their delicious banter and chemistry, it had the perfect amount of spice. It even had a little side mystery with unexpected twists that had me glued to the very end. This one is perfect for lovers of: - Historical setting - Caribbean / Latine characters - Witty banter - Marriage of convenience - Take no $hit FMC - Charming, rescuing type MMC - Ruffians, smugglers, balls and gowns”
