“I had no idea when I bought this book it had a religious aspect to it, even though it wasn't a dominate roll it still was off putting. It was written very long winded, as if a short story drawn out. The religious tones felt pushed to be inserted as well, I seen no true plot that made it relevant. I couldn't wait to finish it just so I could toss it to the side and never look at it again. I can see this falling into a young readers category. Maybe it's someone else's best novel but it was not for me. Wow, I enjoy this book.
I found the characters to be likeable and Alyssa our main female character to have so much strength but also, she was a bada$$!
After she sees something, she shouldn’t have she finds herself a target someone wants to kill her and that someone happens to be her now ex-boyfriend.
She is now on the run, she has car trouble and ends up bumping into her high school sweetheart and his dog, Spencer and Apollo. Even when Alyssa tries to allude that she is fine, everything is fine the blood tells him otherwise.
It was an intense ride of finding out who you can and can’t trust. I loved the dynamic between these two. Even with the past hanging over them, they worked it out.
I know this is labelled a Christian Romance and yes there is that, but it wasn’t the focal point of the story it just added to it.
Great story, great characters and even more a wonderful narrator who made me not want to press pause for any reason.”

But I burned through this high octane novel in one sitting, and it was worth every page!
Alyssa is the youngest of the three sisters and she’s pretty much been considered a hot mess. Spencer was on his way to a serious addiction when his life did a 180 and he served in the military.
When their worlds collide, she is in danger and he’s still recovering from severe trauma. From page one the race is on to find out who is hunting Alyssa and if Spence can stop them.
This is the best of the series, and that’s saying something considering how amazing the previous books are. Make sure to grab the book on release day and uncover the truth, with a little help from Apollo!
