Uncle Silas Reviews

“I’m so glad that I finally got a chance to experience the writing of Le Fanu, and look forward to reading more! I did find that time kind of went back and forth in this story, which was confusing, but the descriptions of the spooky country house and the diabolical characters were wonderful. A campy, over-the-top Victorian sensation novel, perfect for this time of year!”
“Uncle Silas is considered one of the first mystery novels of English literature, and it certainly does not disappoint the reader, even though it's settled in the 1800´s it's easy to relate to the reality of the characters and be trapped by the story and it's in the public domain, which is always a plus if you love to read but you are on a budget”
