Publisher Description

From Colleen Hoover, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and It Ends with Us, a heart-wrenching love story that proves attraction at first sight can be messy.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Loudly Crying Face“Very easy to read in one day with lots of spicy scenes. There’s a weird scene somewhere in the beginning with Miles caressing Tates foot- eew! And also a weird flashback seen talking about the babies’ balls 🤦🏻‍♀️ Miles is a really frustrating character and it’s even more frustrating that Tate falls for it every time. Very emotional towards the end and I had to shed some tears. All I have left to say that I love Cap and would love to have a cute little grandpa as a friend too!”

Slightly Smiling Face“I'm finally hopping onto the Colleen Hoover bandwagon, and this happens to be the first of her books I've picked up. I really connected with Tate, especially her "not being a morning person" trait. Tate's clear determination in knowing what she wants from Miles is truly inspiring. While reading that part, I couldn't help but cheer her on with a mental "You go, girl!" Poor Miles, though! I'm relieved he eventually let down his emotional walls and allowed himself to fall in love with Tate. Overall, it's a wonderfully written book. Such an easy read, read the entire book in less than 3 hours.”

Slightly Smiling Face“It was a pretty good book! I loved how Miles and Rachel's relationship was explain, seeing how in love he was. I also liked the ending, though I didn't like the overprotective brother trope but that's a personal preference. all in all, I would recommend it for a quickish sweet romance read!”

Expressionless Face“I couldn’t get through the first 20pages which is hard to believe because I give every book a chance until page 100. Just wasn’t for me, I’ll decide later if I will give it a try in the future.”
Unengaging charactersUnsatisfying plot
Slightly Smiling Face“The secrecy of Tate and Miles. Plus the doorman had my heart and the end when they go in the plane together. Ugh too good. Very smutty.”
