“I will preface this with saying I have no idea what Critical Role is so I went into this book completely blind, if that is any relevance.
I struggled with the FMC for most of the book, her naive and sheltered traits just annoyed me and while there was growth of her character in the end, it had no depth. I ended up enjoying it well enough, but the MMC and the spice was the backbone of this book rather than the story itself.”
